Free Family Workshop: Make a Tile for Our Community Mosaic!

ArtReach Orlando invites children and their families to join us for a special hands-on ceramic tile-making workshop at our Community Classroom. Together, we will create  ceramic tiles that will become part of a large mosaic mural to be installed on the outside of Arlington Arts, home to our Community Classroom.

This workshop is a unique opportunity to contribute to a public artwork created in partnership with the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA), a national nonprofit dedicated to educating, inspiring, and promoting excellence in mosaic arts. Each year at their annual conference, SAMA members gather for the Mosaic Marathon, a collaborative event where artists from across the country work side by side to create a permanent mosaic artwork for a non-profit charity in the host city. This year, ArtReach Orlando has been selected as the recipient of this lasting gift!

By participating, your family will:

• Design and handcraft your own ceramic tile to be included in a community mosaic mural celebrating ArtReach Orlando's mission. 
• Learn about the art of mosaics and how small pieces can come together to form something beautiful and meaningful.
• Be part of a public artwork that will brighten our neighborhood and serve as a symbol of creativity and community for years to come.

No experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Just bring your imagination and enjoy this free, family-friendly art-making experience.
