In the Summer of 2018, ARO was awarded a Disney grant to bring mindful

art programming at all of Orange County Library System's 16 library branches. 

Buddy Dyer's Mayor's Matching Grants program serves young people in the City of Orlando. In summer of 2019,  this Mayor's Matching Grants program generously provided 24 scholarships for students attending ArtReach Orlando's Artists in WonderCamp! This summer art program is designed to introduce elementary and middle school students to contemporary art through inquiry-based learning, open-ended discussions, hands-on studio art experiences, and interactions with professional artists. Each week, students explored meaningful ideas and processes to investigate the world around them through the elements of art while, most importantly, having lots of fun! Different themes and media were explored with an emphasis on the process over the final product to allow creativity to flow freely. Each day began with mindful body movement and yoga.
