Peace Day in the Park: September 21, 2019

ArtReach Orlando partnered with The Peace and Justice Institute at Valencia College and the City of Winter Park to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace on Saturday, Sept. 21, in the city’s Central Park. The International Day of Peace has been celebrated around the world since 1982. From 9 a.m. to noon, community members of all ages participated in free activities including yoga, games, a public art project, and multicultural performances. The event culminated with members of the community forming a human peace sign in the center of the park for an aerial photograph!
