Together we’ll explore how art can communicate ideas and points of view to inspire social change. We will look at examples of work being made now and in history to better understand the relationship between art and activism. Students will explore how they can make art to address the injustices they see, how they can employ art as a powerful tool for communication, and how they can use their creativity to help make the world a better place for everyone. We’ll use illustration, printmaking, and painting to create art that speaks or shouts for what you believe.

“Artists in Wondercamp is a fun, social, and creative place. It makes me feel
welcome and like my thoughts are supported.”
“ArtReach created such a positive and uplifting environment at camp, that our child was up and dressed every single morning so excited to learn from Ms. Jenn. In just two weeks, we saw her confidence grow by leaps and bounds. That is because of you! She’ll never forget this!"
“I’ve made many friends over the years at Artists in Wondercamp and when I was having a tough time in school (bullies), camp was there for me: making friends, meeting safe adults, and finding a way to express myself.”
